Spring Street Phase 2 Storm Sewer Separation
Storm Sewer System Replacement in Corry, PA.
Showman Excavating completed the Spring Street Phase 2 Storm Sewer Separation Project, which focused on upgrading the existing infrastructure by separating the storm sewer system to improve local drainage. Our role involved a mix of new installations and the replacement of aging components to ensure the system functions reliably for the long term.
The scope of work included the installation of approximately 250 lineal feet of 18-inch storm sewer pipe. In addition to the new pipe, the project required the installation and replacement of eight catch basins and three storm water manholes. These structures were essential for directing runoff and providing necessary access points for future system maintenance.
Once the underground utility work was finished, the project moved into the restoration phase. We were responsible for the asphalt replacement and the reconstruction of concrete sidewalks within the work zone. This phase also included the installation of new ADA-compliant ramps to bring the area up to current accessibility standards. The project concluded with general surface restoration and related tasks to return the site to its original condition.
