Heavy Equipment Operator
RESPONSIBLITIES:

Performing daily safety maintenance and checks
-
Ensuring heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
-
Informing and advising management for maintenance or major repairs on equipment
-
Responding to signals and directions by staff and work in coordination with them
​
REQUIREMENTS:
​​​
-
3-5 years’ experience running heavy equipment such as excavators, front end loaders and dozers is required
-
Must be willing to do general maintenance of the equipment
-
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public
-
Must be able to perform a try-out running the equipment during the interview process
-
Position functions in the field (100%), in all types of weather conditions
-
Overtime is Mandatory When Required

General Laborer
RESPONSIBLITIES:
​
-
Responsible for general and specific safety practices, following company safety manual procedures, and cooperating with our safety representative in a positive pro-active manner
-
Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor
-
Performing the set-up and clean-up of the job site by having materials ready, prepping the area, taking down staging and anything else deemed necessary
-
Build or take apart temporary structures
-
Dig trenches, back-fill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction
-
Utility Installation
-
Directing traffic at or around the job site when necessary
-
Assisting other skilled trade workers
-
Position functions in the field (100%), in all types of weather condition

Estimator
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for heavy civil projects (roadways, bridges, utilities, dams, site development, large-scale earthmoving).
-
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans, specs, and geotechnical reports using Adobe, Bid2Win, In-Site, or similar tools.
-
Develop complete bids including labor crews, production rates, equipment, materials, subcontractors, general conditions, mobilization, bonds, insurance, and contingencies.

Solicit and analyze subcontractor/supplier quotes to secure best value.
-
Conduct site visits to evaluate access, site conditions, environmental factors, traffic control, and other cost-impacting variables.
-
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and executives during bid reviews, value engineering, and post-bid clarifications.
-
Assist with change order pricing and cost control on awarded projects.​
​
REQUIREMENTS
-
2+ years estimating experience in heavy civil construction (roadway, utilities, infrastructure preferred).
-
Strong understanding of heavy civil means and methods: earthwork, concrete structures, paving, drainage, utilities.
-
Ability to read and interpret complex civil/structural plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
-
Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills; able to clearly explain estimates to field and executive teams.
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally to job sites.
-
Weekly Competitive Pay.

Typical Travel Radius Of 50 Miles or Less -- Home Every Night.
