Bridge/Culvert Replacement and Stream Correction.

West Townline Rd Bridge

Bridge/Culvert Replacement and Stream Correction.

The West Townline Road Bridge project involved a complete site preparation and reconstruction process. The work began with clearing trees and vegetation to prepare the area for demolition. The existing bridge was then carefully removed, and the bridge abutments were addressed to ensure a stable foundation for the new structure.

In addition to the bridge work, our team focused on improving the condition of Adsit Run, the stream running beneath the roadway. The stream bed was restored and stabilized, and sill logs were installed along the banks. Riffle crests were added to improve water flow and reduce erosion, creating a more stable and resilient stream environment.

Once all had been completed, a prefabricated concrete bridge was installed, reconnecting the roadway and restoring access efficiently. The project highlights Showman Excavating’s expertise in both excavation and infrastructure projects, combining site preparation, environmental considerations, and structural installation in a single, coordinated effort.
