Old Dominion Freight Lines
Trucking Terminal/Administrative Office Located in Erie, PA
This project is active.
Showman Excavating has successfully completed the initial site clearing for the new Old Dominion Freight Lines facility. Our team has now transitioned into the next phase of development, which involves the stripping of topsoil from the project area to prepare the site for mass grading and subsequent construction activities.
Once the topsoil removal is complete, our scope of work will continue with a full range of civil site improvements. We will manage the demolition of any remaining site obstructions and perform extensive grading to achieve the required elevations for the facility's footprint. Our team will also install the site's complete underground utility infrastructure, including domestic water lines, fire water lines, sanitary sewer systems, and storm sewer systems.
To ensure long-term site stability and compliance, we will continue to implement and maintain robust erosion control measures throughout the construction process. Finally, we will be responsible for preparing the sub-base, including the placement of base stone, to provide a structurally sound foundation for all future concrete and asphalt paving. By coordinating these essential site development tasks, Showman Excavating is continuing to establish the foundational groundwork required for the Old Dominion Freight Lines project.
