Laurel Hill Cemetery

Showman Excavating was engaged to complete a full-scale expansion of Laurel Hill Cemetery, delivering comprehensive site development and infrastructure improvements. The project scope included clearing and mass earthwork grading to prepare the new cemetery addition for long-term use, ensuring proper elevations, slopes, and overall site stability. An access roadway was constructed and graded to provide a seamless connection between the expansion and the existing cemetery, supporting safe and efficient circulation throughout the property.

In addition, Showman Excavating installed a complete underdrainage system across the entire addition to effectively manage subsurface water and promote proper drainage conditions. The project was completed with the construction of a water collection pond designed to control stormwater runoff, enhance site drainage performance, and integrate naturally into the surrounding landscape. This work was executed with careful attention to functionality, longevity, and the respectful nature of the site.
